Since 2010
We accept applications starting:
April 15 through May 31
Annually

Applications are closed until April 2025
Our mission is to provide financial aid to students in Eagle County who are facing financial hardship when applying to traditional colleges, or trade schools.

ABOUT US

The Gerald and Virginia Rose Foundation provides need-based educational grants to students pursuing higher education in trade or professional certification schools, as well as accredited college programs. Our program is only available to students in Western Eagle County, Colorado who are experiencing financial hardship.

While we give preference to students who remain in Colorado and attend in-state colleges with lower tuition rates, our program is not limited to traditional colleges alone. We encourage students to pursue careers in trades and technical fields or certifications, as this can help them enter the workforce more quickly than through traditional education.

HOW TO APPLY

To apply, please navigate to the apply page and download the application. Fill out the form at the bottom of the application page and upload your completed application form, along with a FAFSA, school transcript, and tax documents. Please note that incomplete applications will not be considered.

If you are awarded a grant for your education, you may reapply for continued support the following spring by submitting an essay about your school year, along with your transcript and tax documents. Please note that any missing information will preclude you from receiving continued support.

Our charter awards financial aid to students when circumstances or financial hardship make it necessary. At the Gerald and Virginia Rose Foundation, we believe that education is essential to a successful future, and we are committed to helping students achieve their academic and career goals.
